eCardio Verité Mobile Cardiac Telemetry Monitor
eCardio is a well known service company in the ambulatory cardiac monitoring space. eCardio has evolved to be a leading provider of Holter Monitoring, Event Monitoring and now Mobile Cardiac Telemetry services.
eCardio introduced their MCT device called the Verite. The eCardio Verite Mobile Cardiac Telemetry device analyzes continuous ECG information for a period of up to 30 days. Like other MCT monitors, the Verite automatically detect and automatically transmits abnormal ECG to the eCardio diagnostic monitoring center. eCardio claims to have ‘higher diagnostic yield’ with the Verite as this device analyzes each beat close to real time compared to others only transmitting detected events picked up by the monitor.
eCardio Verité can function both as an MCT device as well as a Cardiac Event Monitor. eCardio’s Verite device has an integrated on-board algorithm that can detect such incidents as Atrial Fib, SVT, V-Tach, Bradycardia, & Pauses. This information is reported each 24 hour period as well as an end of summary report. eCardio monitors their telemetry cases with their Medicare accredited 24/7/365 Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) located in the area of Houston, Texas.
