eCardio is a Houston based company that has emerged to be a big player in the Cardiac Monitoring space. eCardio is one of the more well-known players in the industry offering Holter Monitoring, Event Monitoring and Mobile Cardiac Telemetry services. eCardio takes pride in providing high quality & technologically advanced monitoring services to their existing customer base.
eCardio experienced great success as a young company with long term monitoring services as the cornerstone of their business. The explosive growth of eCardio from a unique long term Cardiac Event Monitoring tool that allowed (both the service laboratory as well as the cardiology facility) to bill for each 24 hour cycle for a period of up to 30 days. This service rapidly grew in popularity as the both eCardio and the medical facility could generate profitable revenue from each study. During this time, eCardio appeared to be the only company in the industry that could offer this long term Cardiac Event Monitoring service. After a relatively short period, Medicare revoked this ‘real time’ ECG code.

Their integration features minimize redundant entries and provides patient enrolled in a quicker fashion as demographic data does not have to be entered multiple times. Further, patient records are seamlessly placed in the patient’s electronic chart which improves efficiency and reduces the time needed for manual scanning of patient study into the chart. eCardio offers a flexible architecture for their patient study integration which can be quickly & easily modified to the needs of each medial facility.
Device Technology
eCardio has employed a variety of MCT monitoring technology but most recently introduced the Verite Mobile Cardiac Telemetry device. This MCT device is slightly different than others as it has only 1 component with the diagnostic quality of the big players.
