LifeWatch announced on Monday that it received 510k clearance from the FDA on their new single channel (1 lead) Mobile Cardiac Telemetry (MCT) Patch. The single lead patch was developed internally by LifeWatch in which they plan to add to their existing product line for outpatient cardiac monitoring. The new single channel MCT patch received CE mark for expansion in international markets.

LifeWatch also recently announced a new partnership with AliveCor Inc. to add the consumer based AliveCor® Mobile ECG monitor to their diagnostic service business. cardiac monitoring business. We are working together to integrate the AliveCor Mobile ECG into LifeWatch’s cardiac monitoring product offering.
LifeWatch is looking to use AliveCor’s product to expand their cardiac event monitoring segment with a patients mobile phone. The AliveCor ECG device is used as a post event device to capture ECG while experiencing a symptom via a module through the finger tips.
