ScottCare offers Holter monitoring (Chroma™ Holter and Novi™ patch Holter) and a new, industry-first mobile WiFi-based 3-in-1 remote cardiac monitor called TeleSense™ that provides complete Holter monitoring, wireless Event monitoring, Mobile Cardiac Telemetry (MCT) monitoring. The TeleSense is supported by their EventCare™ monitoring software.
ScottCare has a unique competitive advantage in Mobile Cardiac Telemetry (MCT). ScottCare is one of the only companies (besides Mednet) to introduce a new reimbursement model for MCT to the industry. Rather than provide the standard service model employed by CardioNet, Lifewatch and eCardio, ScottCare offers a refreshing solution through its Ambucor Health Solutions division that allows their customers to bill for both the professional and technical components of MCT. This is a huge advantage for ScottCare as this reimbursement model brings a substantial increase in reimbursement revenues to the cardiology specialist rather than to the service company.
